About Us
Arabs Inc. - Arabian Riders & Breeders (ACT and Southern NSW) Inc. - was formed in 1962.

Although the club’s key focus is the Arabian horse, and most members own, breed and love them, the club has always had a mixture of members and has always conducted all breed shows. The club has grown in status over the years, and is well respected within the Australian Arabian horse community and by the wider equine industry.

The National Capital Horse Show, the club’s major annual show which is held each November, was first held at Bowral and then at Hall before relocating to the Canberra Showgrounds (now known as EPIC - Exhibition Park in Canberra).

The club hosts a number of shows throughout the year, holds monthly committee meetings and conducts its Annual General Meeting in July each year. Meetings are open to all members. Anyone interested in finding out more about the club, or wishing to find out what’s involved in being on the committee, can do so by contacting us by e-mail, via Facebook, or by seeking out a committee member at one of our events.

The current committee, which was elected at the AGM in January 2016, is made up of the members listed in the column to the right.
